Although I believe it may have occured to me at one point or another without my true will to do so, I have not YET experienced astral projection for myself. Although from what I understand of it, I am not sure if I am completely ready for it either. Perhaps with in the next year...

Who is Pagan Realm Staff...is that you, Tarty?

Anyway. I am with Zee. While I have heard of it and may have experienced it once or twice on accident...I couldn't do it if I wanted to.

But, I plan on learning. We will see.

Blessings, Ceri

Credo:: The truth is, that life is hard and dangerous; that he, who seeks his own happiness, does not find it; that he, who is weak, must suffer; that he, who demands love, will be disappointed; that he, who seeks peace, will find strife; that he, who is greedy, will not be fed; that truth is only for the brave; that joy is only for him, who does not fear to be alone; that that life is only for the one, who is not afraid to die. .

From everything that you have said, we have got to get together and talk and see how badly we can screw up each others head... LOL! Really, I think we may benifit from a good conversation. Post a reply and sit in a private room, and I will be in there within a few minutes.

Pagan Realm Staff could be me, Deech, Caryatid, Bob, Grey or JackFrost-- In this case it was me.

I have been practicing Astral Projection for a long time. It was something that came natural as a child- although I didn't understand what it was then-- and something I have been trying to refine as an adult.

I don't practice it as much as I would like though- I need more hours in each day and night!

Blessings
Tarty

Actually it is more like unlearning...

Children can naturally astral project but we lose that ability by the time we become adults (societal pressure?).

My only problem is that nagging question I always have of whether I am of this plane (Earth) and visiting another or am of another just visiting Earth.

I voted yes but rarely.

It comes easy for me to do. I did it as a child without knowing what I was doing. As a teenager and young adult I worked on developing the gift. But I found as soon as I gave birth to my first child, it was difficult to do. She could sense me leaving her attention and every time would start to cry and I would come back before I even got to far. Now that my 2nd child is getting older, 6y, I am just starting to revisit astral projection again.

Interestingly enough, there are several beliefs along several religios paths that say that we knew a lot more than we do now before we were born, and forget it as we grow older. Then have to relearn it.

I have in the past, but have found it's increasingly difficult as I get older. I also find it quite difficult when I'm stressed in my life.. I can't seem to "let go" to get out..
