Goddess help you all, I am on fire in the midst of a writing tear. Here's some of what I like the best, starting with...

We Are Many ã2003 L. Tracy/Ad Astra Music, ASCAP

G Am
There’s many times I’ve looked away, then asked what could be done
C D
The longest job to finish is the one never begun
Though it’s easy to give in and hard to make a start
I’d rather light a candle than just sit and curse the dark
G Am C D

I know we all share many dreams, some of them may soon come true
If we can work together and do all we can do
For it’s the things we hold in common are the things that make us strong
So do not be afraid my friends, lift up your voice in song

For we are many, but we are one
And if we join together, then our voices will be strong
Yes we are many, so stand as one
And if we join together, we’ll have only just begun
D twice
A Bm
For we are many, but we are one
D E
And if we stand together, then our voices will be strong
Yes we are many, but if we’re one
Then we can do the things that they said never could be done

(Instrumental bridge)
Bb Cm Eb F
Bb Cm Eb F

G Am
No house can stand divided, only love can conquer hate
C D
You know that we don’t have that long, the hour is getting late
But there is no need for poverty; and there is no need for war
Lift up, lift up your voices, we won’t take it any more!

For we are many, but we are one
And if we join together, then our voices will be strong
Yes we are many, so stand as one
And if we join together, we’ll have only just begun
We are many, but we are one
Yes we are many, so stand as one
D twice
G four times
For we are many………..but we are one!
