Hi, all. My sister-in-law had a stroke a couple of days ago, and could use all the healing energy she can get. Seems she also had a blood clot in her brain, behind her eye. Can't use one eye anymore, and is semi-paralyzed down one side of her body. You really have to wonder what the Gods and Goddesses were thinking, because this is a person who watches her diet carefully, and exercises regularly.

Be your own hero.

Eek.. and so young too... I hope she makes a full and longlasting recovery.

Well, she's still alive, and that's what really counts. Not so sure about being partially paralized, though. They think that might be permanent.

Chakra sends her healing thoughts your way Ralph.  As do I.  She's reading over my shoulder while we're at work.

(sideline...she's giving me the low-down on you, as well...LOL!  Says you're a super guy....)

Dena, I couldn't agree with you more.  I've learned this with passion this year.

At Christmas, my brother (48) had a series of mini-strokes.  In the early part of this year, another brother (45) had a heart attack.  In April, 5 days after his 79th birthday, my beloved father passed away.  Just last week, another brother (44ish) was diagnosed with Diabetes.  (I have 7 brothers BTW, if you're counting...LOL)

And my business partner (Dankinia) is dealing with her father's agressive cancer.

To say the least, it's been a hard year for us all.  But it has definately reinforced the love I have, and I know I'm more apt to express it that I was.

Blessings to all...

Jenn

Thanks, both of you! So, I'm a super guy, huh? Personally, I've always thought of myself as more of a bat guy. ;-)

Thanks. I did get some good news today - the blood clot in her brain is gone. She also has feeling on her paralyzed side, but she still can't move it. They took her out of ICU and into rehab today.

Be your own hero.
