Spring cleaning?
What a job! I cleaned and organized my whole house!
I did a major clean-up but had help
I still need to do a spring cleaning
I do a major clean-up several times a year
I clean every day, year round
Ack--I'm waiting for my S.O. to do it
Ack--I'm waiting for the maid to do it
Ack--I'm waiting for my mom to do it
I don't have any springs to clean
Fnord!

I did alot of cleaning that was spurred on by my waterheater going out and leaking everwhere...about 7 boxesthat held my comic books were completely destroyed. Since I am allergic to mold, I had a very hard time breathing. Luckily the landlord replaced it, killed the mold, and got an industiral dryer thingy *can't think of what it was called lol* to dry the carpet that was in the closet where the heater is. Otherwise, this spurred up some overdue dusting and cleaning, but I still have quite abit left to do.

Oh yuck. Sounds like a mess. Sorry about your comic books too
:-(

Will your landlord compensate you for the value of the comic books? His insurance may cover it

Oh it was a really bad mess. I had a whole bunch of books with a carboard standup of Gandalf the White given to me by a friend who used to work at Walden's book store in the Valley Mall. I am just glad they took care of all the mold. I am highly allergic to it *as well as penicillen* and I thank the Goddess I did not end up in the hospital or miss class. My comic books did make it out okay, I am sorry I didn't clarify that. However, the boxes made for them all got ruined so I am continually buying new ones until I replace all the old ones. Mine are all bagged and backboarded, so they are protected. :) I am also thankful for that too because about 700 comic books would have been ruined. I have renter's insurance too so if they would have been ruined it would have covered them.

Sweetie-- I have a cardboard life-sized cut-out of Gandalf the Grey in my living room. (Also from above mentioned store display). If you want it, I'll send it to you

Gandalf the Grey? Wow, I haven't seen that one yet! Are you sure? He sounds like he has made a good niche where he is right now. :)

I've had him for about 3 years now, but if you want him, I will send him to you to replace the one you lost.

Just let me know

Yeah, alittle bit of the mold got on my Gandalf the White and he was soaked some...but that will just give him alittle extra character. I cannot bring myself to get rid of him since he was given to me by a dear friend. Now I just have to find a place to put all my clutter since I donnot trust putting anything near the water heater again. *water heater being located in the largest closet* My poems, books, etc. *I have huge library* If you have any places you know of that takes donations I have a few I would not mind sending to you btw :)
