Sorry to bother everyone with this, but I'm desparate. I'm looking for copies of two movies that were on television recently. The first is 10.5, which was aired on NBC. It was a disaster movie about the biggest earthquake yet to hit California. The other was aired on ABC, called A Wrinkle in Time, based on the book of the same name. If anyone can help me get copies of these movies, I'd really appreciate it.!

I don't think they are available in DVD or video cassette yet. I checked NetFlix, which has everything and they aren't listed.

You may have to wait until they come out, or find someone who taped them.

Good luck

I was afraid of that. Thanks, anyway.

I had them both taped and copied over them. Why? 10.5 had HORRIBLE camera work and they could have done a much better job. I remember mini series movies from when I was a kid that came out better. A Wrinkle in Time, they took way too many liberties with the book and rushed it big time.

<sigh> Okay, thanks anyway. I saw the first half of Wrinkle, and liked it, even though I hadn't read the book.

They made a book out of the Madeline L'Engle book????

Glad I missed it. I loved the book, 'course I loved most fo what she wrote. Especially the whole series with the family... very touching... I wanted them to adopt me.

I think you meant "They made a movie...?"

I guess they did. But I didn't see it

well that's sad to hear about Wrinkle in Time. That series was one of my favorites growing up. Actually, I was walking to work the other day and someone had put some books in boxes out for trash pick up *gasp* On the top was Swiftly Tilting Planet. Of course I took it and read it. It's hard to get that kind of good book karma.

:)
