I'm off to spend 2 days alone with Joe on a cliff in Malibu. No tv, no wild parties, just us two, a roaring fireplace, an incredible view of the Pacific, and good food.

I hope everyone has a fun and safe weekend and a great year to come

Tarty

We had a very nice, relaxing time-- no tv, no phone, and a roaring fire for 2 1/2 days straight.

I like your New Year's greeting-- cute
:-)

(((((((((Delynn))))))))

It was so comfy and cozy. It poured like crazy most of the time we were there, but we had enough food and firewood that we didn't need to leave the house or the point. The moon coming up over the Pacific on New Year's Eve was breathtaking.

(and yes, for those of you who are doing the math, we were on the west coast, but this particular cliff actually faces the east, so we could see the moon rise).

It finally cleared a bit yesterday and we climbed down the cliff path to the beach only to have it start pouring again while we were down there.

We were hoping to catch a glimpse of Julia Roberts this weekend--she just bought the property next door, but I guess she was away... LOL

Anyway, I hope you had a great New Year's too.

And now, I have to go back to work...

Reality bites.....

Sure sounds like you two know how to spend a weekend! That sounded like a simply wonderful, romantic getaway, with the fire and the rain, I/we love the rain!

As a matter of fact, my hubby proposed to me while we were out chasing a thunderstorm in hopes of getting rained on. :) {When you live in the desert, you WILL chase a thunderstorm down!}

We went into Artesia, Charlie Daniels put on a free concert for New Years Eve, and it got quite cold by about 11:00pm, but the band did their best to heat things up. :) And we were sober, so we remember it!! *G*

Well Hon, sorry you have to go to work, but try to have fun anyway, if it were me I'd be enjoyimg being surrounded by books, as I'm quite the bibliophile! *G*

Love and Light,
Delynn

Oh it surely is a joy to be surrounded by books. I've been getting into Medieval History lately (doh! LOL). There are soooo many great non-fiction books out there.

Who says non-fiction is boring?
