Well, I just got a call from school today. Seems a class I need won't be offered for a while, so I'm on temporary leave of abscense. I guess I can understand, but I really wanted to finish this upcoming term. <sigh>

Keep your head up. It will all work out for you. :)

Thanks. Guess I'm just not patient, as you well know.

I know that it is tough but everything happens for a reason. Maybe this happened because there will be better job opportunities next spring.

That's annoying. :( I guess you'll be looking for work in the mean time? Since you're learning computer graphics maybe you can work on your website portfolio too. Still, it's nice when you can get your courses done in a timely manner; I hate waiting for things myself--I'm not too patient at times!

I'm sure I can find something to do in the meantime, though practically all the jobs available around here are in the factories.

Hmmm......Have you looked online to see if there's any work you can do at home on your comp and submit to a company?

I hadn't thought of that. Good idea, but I don't know if my antique of a computer would be up to the job. I'm lucky to be able to get it to run Photoshop 7.

Hmmmm......Maybe pull a bit of a temp job in a factory? Then at the very least you can put some more gas in your car and spend your break from school with Joni.

Are there any factories that work along the lines of what you're learning? Ones that use computer graphics to make signs or something? [Edited for spelling.]

Nope. All we have around here are powdered metal factories, and my psychiatrist says the pressure of trying to keep up with everyone else would worsen my depression. I need work that uses my mind, not my back.
