In a civilised western society the unpopular government are rejected by vote without bloodshed, what makes it possible is to \u2018agree to disagree,\u2019 but many countries do not adopt this kind of mentality, this is why most of these countries without genuine democracy are into endless civil wars.

In the civilized world, we have our system clarified and most of the abiding citizens do follow, but not when it comes to the newly arrived refugees they get a very special traditional integration time which can last several generations!

Roger Scruton makes several good points, but who are we to say anything that might get us all censored by the regressive Left for voicing out our genuine opinions!?

Without much exaggeration keep your precious opinion voiced out loud because you are right on!

One size fits all ''democracy'' such as we have seen after the ''Arab Spring Revolution'' in countries in north Africa like Egypt doesn't pretty well work when they got the Muslim Brotherhood taking away the little freedom they had in the past, rules under dictatorship using religion to imperative blend always gets into the worst case scenario!

That's right, I hope they keep up with the more factual threats!

Roger Scruton is pointing out how much Stockholm syndrome plays into unlawful behaviour, it creeps into some people's daily lives almost siding with the enemy and justifying criminal action, very often not realizing that they have become helpers to extent more what the enemies need and want in the first place!

Now that I've heard Roger Scruton and his lecture on the specific historical facts about religion in the Middle East within the clash between them without democracy - I certainly need to read his book too... thank you for sharing this particular precious session!

Outside his career as a philosopher and writer, Scruton was involved in the establishment of underground universities and academic networks in Soviet-controlled Central Europe during the Cold War, and he has received a number of awards for his activities in this area. In June 2016 he was created a Knight Bachelor by Queen Elizabeth II in the Birthday Honours list published on the Queen's 90th birthday.
