Ricardo Duchesne is a Canadian historical sociologist and professor at the University of New Brunswick. His main research interests are Western civilization, the rise of the West, and the ideology of diversity.

In his 2011 main work The Uniqueness of Western Civilization he emphasizes the "continuous creativity" of Europeans from ancient Greek times to the present and criticises what he sees as the destructive effects of multiculturalism on modern Western culture. His last book, "Canada in Decay: Mass Immigration, Diversity, and the Ethnocide of Euro-Canadians," argues that Canada is not a "nation of immigrants" but a nation created by Anglo and French "pioneers" and "settlers". "Canada in Decay" also questions the double standards of multiculturalism in granting both "collective" ethnic rights and "individual rights" to minorities and immigrant groups while suppressing the ethno-cultural rights of Euro-Canadians

Canada In Decay is the first scholarly book questioning the undemocratic policy of mass immigration and racial diversification in Canada. The entire Canadian political establishment, the mainstream media and the academics, are all in harmonious unison with the banks and corporations, in promoting two myths to justify mass immigration.

The first myth this book demolishes is the claim that immigration into Canada "enriches the country", by demonstrating that mass immigration is not only leading to Euro-Canadians becoming a small minority in their own homeland, but because of the disparity in the birth-rate, the Euro-Canadian population is likely to become almost extinct.

The second myth this book demolishes is the regularly repeated claim that Canada is a "nation of immigrants" by demonstrating that Canada was founded by Indigenous Quebecois, Acadians, and English speakers. This book also exposes the rewriting of Canada’s history in the media, schools, and universities, as an attempt to rob Euro-Canadians of their own history by inventing a past that conforms to the ideological goals of a future multiracial and multicultural Canada.

Canada In Decay explains the origins of the ideology of immigrant multiculturalism and the inbuilt radicalizing nature of this ideology, and argues that the ''theory of multicultural citizenship'' is marred by a double standard which encourages minorities to affirm their collective cultural rights while Euro-Canadians are excluded from affirming theirs. "Canada In Decay is a bold, compelling, and often devastating deconstruction of the Left-Liberal narrative which has dominated Canadian politics since the 1970s.

It is bound to put on the defensive both the politically correct Left and the globalist Right not just in Canada but across the entire western world."

-- Grant Havers, author of Leo Strauss and Anglo-American Democracy: A Conservative Critique.

Ricardo Duchesne - Radical Liberal Norms That Lead to the Decline of the West.

Ricardo critiques some common perspectives on liberalism found in the Alt-Right, arguing that we should be careful not to condemn the West overall when discussing the causes of its current crisis.

Ricardo then reminds everyone that most classical liberal values originally had an ethnic component.

Switching gears, they discuss rationalism, liberalism, universalism. Later, they ruminate on Asian immigration into Canada, which Ricardo cites as a threat.

The show concludes with a discussion on Trump’s presidency thus far, and what we can expect to see from him in the future.

Great idea for posting this...  relaxed

Thinking, some issues people need to be faced in details; as the current times occur and performs mostly unseen and underground.

We can clearly see that most of the people aren't aware of most of the conniving developments politician gets us into.

Duchesne is on the right track - he is among the very few with the courage to bring up important issues, right forward on the table for discussion to alter the depression we are going through at the current times. I totally forgot about him, I'm glad you brought this up here.

thumbsup  I'm enjoying his broadcast, right now.

Cultural Marxism in Canadian Society:

Ricardo Duchesne and Shawn Dalton on ThatChannel (2013 10o 17)

Sociology professor Ricardo Duchesne (from the University of New Brunswick), author of "The Uniqueness of Western Civilization" is joined by Shawn Dalton to discuss the consequences of "Cultural Marxism", a kind of thought-control leading to excessive and unmanageable immigration that is taboo even to discuss and debate.

Richardo and Shawn dare to question that taboo, and raise the unsettling spectre that such a policy has the potential to destroy western civilization.itself, the very context in which such cultural mixing is only possible. Who is behind this sinister agenda, if there is one?
