Can you point to where Bill Gates said he wants to reduce the world population? I mean, you won't find a source for it, because he never said it, but I'd be curious to know if you did any research on such a prepostrous claim yourself, or are you just parroting the same nonsense that the right wing idiots are feeding you (as if I don't already know the answer...)

Kill Gates wants you to believe that what he means is that by vaccinating children, and making them healthier, women in poorer countries who try to have a lot of children accounting for losing some to disease won't do so

Did you actually watch the entire TED talk? Because that is not what he said. And since you likely won't take the time to educate yourself, let me do so, although since it doesn't fit your world narrative, you'll ignore it...

He was using math to talk about how to reduce global emissions, and since some portion of that number does depend on the number of people in the world, he did talk about the predicted number of people at this future date, but because of better health care due to vaccines (among other things), disease prevention, etc., tend to slow down the population growth (don't need to birth 15 kids if the first 8 aren't dying at birth), that the figure being used could be "reduced" by 10-15%.

Except to the loony, tin-foil hat wearing extremists, there is nothing in what he said that sounds like "We can use vaccines to reduce the world population by 50%". The knock-on effect of better health care, which includes the use of vaccines to stop deadly childhood diseases, means that families in poorer countries will have fewer children because they aren't needing to play the odds that at least a few survive through childhood.

But ya know, not giving in to every ludicrous wild theory is sort of the point of education, but the kinds tof asshats that believe this shit also believe in flat-earth, math is the evils, and evolution is the devil's diary.
