Elizabeth Holmes has been found guilty on four counts of wire fraud. In 2018, Norah O’Donnell reported on Theranos, the company led by Holmes with a blood-testing machine that could never perform as touted that went from a billion-dollar baby to a complete bust.

"60 Minutes" is the most successful television broadcast in history. Offering hard-hitting investigative reports, interviews, feature segments and profiles of people in the news, the broadcast began in 1968 and is still a hit, over 50 seasons later, regularly making Nielsen's Top 10.

Forbes named Holmes the world's youngest self-made woman billionaire --worth $4.5 billion --in 2014, when she was 30 years old.

On January 3, 2022, Holmes was found guilty of four out of 11 charges of fraud; she was acquitted on four charges; the jury failed to reach a verdict on 3 counts.

SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) -- As Elizabeth Holmes prepares to report to prison next week, the criminal case that laid bare the blood-testing scam at the heart of her Theranos startup is entering its final phase.

The 11-year sentence represents a comeuppance for the wide-eyed woman who broke through “tech bro” culture to become one of Silicon Valley’s most celebrated entrepreneurs, only to be exposed as a fraud. Along the way, Holmes became a symbol of the shameless hyperbole that often saturates startup culture.

Christian Holmes’ career wasn’t entirely made up of government work, however: He also served as a vice president at energy companies Tenneco and at ENRON. Fuisz claims he helped Holmes in the wake of the ENRON scandal and the company’s subsequent collapse.

Convicted felon Elizabeth Holmes of Theranos is back a new and reborn mumma! Or at least, that's what she'd have us all believe in her latest interview with the New York Times. After years of silence (since 2017 or so), she's finally found her voice again (no, not THAT voice) and tries her latest trick to convince us all that the entire Theranos thing? Yeah, that wasn't her fault. 

This woman sounds like a character in a science fiction story.
