Poetry mustn't be perfect or coherent
If you read more you won't become a tyrant
Billy Collins on How to Write Poetry
NPR 8 Dec 2016
If you aren't a poet but want to get started, how would you do that?

MY TIPS
Focus on a theme and being spontaneous.
Poems cannot sound ideal or rational.
Most of the time it's a sudden feeling.
Listening more may drop the authoritarian.

How Poems End with Billy Collins
Explore an approach to reading poetry that isn’t concerned so much with a poem’s meaning as it is with how a poem finds its way through itself, sometimes changing direction, sometimes pausing by the roadside, but especially with how a poem finds a way to conclude. Billy Collins has a unique place in American letters. No poet since Robert Frost combines such high critical acclaim with such broad popular appeal. He served as Poet Laureate of the United States, his books break sales records, and his readings are often standing room only.

Reading poetry is like delicious brain food,
It's like a nice summer walk in a breezy wood.
Sometimes to be compare to candy, as good.

So much more to learn from a poet as Billy Collins.
As much we get to know how words are simple callings.

Nothing but writing verses without praise ?

For the regular forum despot?
What is the theme here, starting a poem?
Do we all need to show that we know him?
