I'm Judy and I'm more normal than the some of these quilters because I stay east of the Mississippi and do not hang out at the Retreat.

I suspect that the Valley of the Sun people all stay up too late at night and possibly eat too much chocolate  when they gather in February and consequently strange things happen to their brains.

Welcome, Gloria!  Along wit Judy, I'm also east of the Mississippi and don't get in on the shenanigans, but enjoy hearing about them.  Sometimes it is real chatty here and sometimes rather quiet.  It will be great to get some new folks in the conversations.  We would love to see photos of your work!

You guys have been asking to see a Gloria’s work....well, let me tell you that Gloria is a gem!  She does a ton of charity things like many of you.  She sews clothes for needy, and makes quilts too!

she and I are always tossing things fabric, yarn, etc back and forth.  Not long ago she was rescuing precut flannel squares and making rag quilts.  Maybe she will tell us what charity thing she is working on.

Ha Ha, you could even sew a little pouch in there for all of your valuables and no one would consider looking in there.

Ouch Laura!  Sorry about your thumb. I hope it heals quickly.  It sounds like your vacation is just what you needed.

Many years ago a friend who was an Air Traffic Controller at a small airport told me the last words he heard before someone crashed was "Oh, shit".  So it's probably true!
