Viola, take care of yourself. I know you are such a nurturer, but remember you need to take care of you too. Miss seeing your face. Have a good trip and don't overdo it.
Viola, just an FYI, Ohio requires a 2 week quarantine to come into the state. Don't know how you have to prove it. We were going to go the end of the month but will not now.
We use the honor system.
Ohioans who have been out of state just go to their home and stay there. (Friends/relatives will bring groceries if needed.) We trust our visitors to self-quarantine themselves, so if you are coming to visit a family member you stay with that person and do not leave their home.
I looked this up because our youngest is traveling to Ohio later this month. I found the Ohio website that lists the affected states as of today (8/3/2020) and the states that are on the "don't visit us unless you do a 2 week quarantine" list are below. The cut-off percentage is 15, meaning if your state has a reporting positive testing rates of 15% or higher for COVID-19, you gotta do the quarantine.
I would think if that is true my friend would have told me that.Just talk to her yesterday. But I have decide not to go last night.Something just told me not to go. I am going to miss my son birthday but I would rather be safe then sorry.
Wow Laura!! Sounds like you hit it big with all of the quilt room furniture. Looking forward to seeing your new-to-you room all put together. I'm so glad your COVID test showed negative and you can go ahead with your hand surgery. I'll keep reading to see how it went. I trust well and you are now recovering well.
I'm doing fine and everyone is Jason's family has been cleared to go back to work. Kellie went back today and Jason will go back next Wednesday. None of them ever did get really sick. Kellie lost all taste and smell and Jason had the sniffles and a little bit of congestion. If they hadn't been tested they probably wouldn't have known they had the "plague". Just to be on the safe side I told Jason not to hug me for a while. LOL
I'm so glad you are all well. But it had to kill you to tell Jason not to hug you for awhile!

I was afraid that soon you would hear on the news about this crazed lady running down the street, naked and stabbing someone
...if it said with a crown on, we would figure out who it was!

I'm so sorry Ellen. Do take care of YOU while you are caring for those in your family and other issues.

people become mean!
I agree! My poor sister is the Librarian at the Christian MS & HS in the area. The lady she reports too can be as nice as pie toward her one day and then just terrible to her to the point she is just sure she's going to be fired. My sister said it was really bad last week and she ended up in tears she was so upset and scared by the situation. Linda (sister) has been working FT+ for this lady for a few years in this role and she has been persuing a Masters in Library Science as her administrators have wanted her to. She about at her wits end stressed out and this COVID stress just complicates everything. I hope you are doing better and that Zack is encouraged with something new to do soon... all for the positive!
