I am still *mostly* in a holding pattern until the weather cools down a little. It's just too hot to stay outside for very long. And there is so much stuff I want to do in the yard.
Recently some here have said they kinda lost their mojo for a while (except for Shelley, who just keeps finishing top after top in record time, and Ami, who just keeps adding to her wardrobe and being the queen of squirrel and bird applique). I think lots of people got "mask fatigue" after making so many. I just had fatigue, period. I get a tiny bit done on the house every day, but I am still a long way from having my sewing room set up. The plan has changed again. I have bought a new queen-size *adjustable* bed (SQUEE!) and decided to let the largest bedroom BE a bedroom, with a real bed and TV and there will still be room to sew in there, one way or another. In the two other smaller bedrooms, I will set up my sewing triangle (actually a square, with sewing machine, cutting table, pressing station, and serger). Maybe I will have the serger in my bedroom, because I use it a lot. I think the room with the MuRdEr CaRpEt will be the actual sewing machine room, and the other small bedroom will be storage for stash and other sewing/quilting stuff -- but in a way that I can see what I have and get busy using a lot of it. Then I don't know where I will end up putting my FW sewing table. But the two small bedrooms are still crammed with boxes (fabric and other stuff) that have not yet been unpacked. I almost forgot to take some "before" photos - but I remembered after I had unpacked only a couple of boxes, so it still looks like an episode of Hoarders. I will still have good comparison photos.
Right now it's much like those little number puzzles, where you have to move the little squares forward and backward and up and down in order to get them in numerical order. I'm doing a lot of "staging" in other rooms so I can clear out one small space at a time in the room I am trying to unpack.
Will try to go ahead and post a couple of "before" photos. Not sure when I will have the "after" ones. haha This one room has mostly plastic bins of fabric. The other room has more cardboard boxes of fabric AND other stuff. Doesn't it just wear you out to think about it? ha But I keep watching YouTube sewing and quilting videos to try to get motivated and keep moving. And yes, also episodes of Hoarders -- gives me a sense that I'm not doing all that bad. :o)

So. what you're saying is that you have a sewing HOUSE with some space for a bed. And maybe a kitchen & bathroom. :-)

Elleb your mystery looks really nice. Love the green in the. I was going to use green in mine and took it to the quilt store but they did not have the right shade so I got blue instead.

Well looks like you are making lots of progress. Sometimes even just decisions are hard. Looking forward to the after photos.

I think maybe you need a bigger house where are you going to put all that stuff?
