Judy, I don’t mind helping.  I have taught this so many times I have all the short cuts...well, on this one I should probably say I understand the wordy directions!

I so appreciate your willingness and experience!  You are mighty kind my friend!

Wow, you are really thinking and planning how you will use each space in your new home well.  It may look and feel a bit like "Hoarders" now but it will be so wonderful as you move along!

what you're saying is that you have a sewing HOUSE with some space for a bed.  And maybe a kitchen & bathroom.  :-)

Excellent way to say it!

You should take Patty up on her offer to help unpack (and Sharon too).  When I moved into my house I had somehow hurt my back, two compression fractures, Patty offered to come up and unpack my sewing room.  I was amazed that someone I hardly knew would do that.  But quilters are like that, best people in the world.  I dragged up a chair and sat in the hall outside of the room and got to order her all around.  I loved it!

Hi Carolyn, and everyone. Gosh I didn’t realize how many days I haven’t logged on.
well I had my other hand surgery done on
July 22. Boy it was so much more than the other hand. I have been having trouble with the casts.
they put the first cast on at my 1st follow up. It was to stay o for 2 weeks, I was back in 7 days in so much pain, come to find out the pin was caught on the casting material and was on a nerve. They took it off, and pulled the pin out.
they put in another cast. Less than 7 days later I again went back in awful pain, they took off that cast too. He said I was just having a reaction to the casts. I felt it was more that with 3 different surgery sites. Side, bottom, and thumb the cast was just to heavy and tight putting pressure right on one site or another.
thankfully he said let’s just put it in a brace for the last 3 weeks, and then we can start physical therapy. I am VERY happy.

in 24 hrs I have regained feeling in my thumb and I can move my fingers together, bending up and down. .    It still has a long way to go to heal but I feel about 1/2 as much pain and feel hopeful for the first time since the surgery a month ago.

I’m so glad to see everyone is hanging in there and just want to agree about the lack of interest in sewing and things.  now I might be able to think clearer, I still am working with 1 hand lol, but That I can handle.

Sorry to hear you've had so much trouble with this last hand operation, but glad to see that finally you're on the road to recovery.  Yes, this darn hot weather isn't very conducive to sewing or doing much of anything, but I think there is a rainbow at the end of this summer.  We got some rain last nite, not enough, but lots of wind.  You take care.

I'm so glad you hand is starting to feel better!! :D Yay! Praying it gets all the way better

Wow you have sure been thru some trials with the casts. Hopefully it will now just quickly heal up and you can get back to doing some fun things again.

we are going to brave the roads and go to Vegas for the small  wedding!

It's hot there too, almost as hot as we are.  Be careful you don't melt(being as sweet as you are)
