If you take a few days off for bereavement, has it ever been your experience to have to find your own coverage?

DH had his back surgery Tuesday afternoon.  I spent the night at the hospital.  He did very well.  Was up walking that night at his request.  We came home Wednesday afternoon.  The long-acting pain med that they injected at the surgical site has worn off so he has more pain.  That will get better.  Wish I could convince him to take more than Tylenol for pain....Stubborn man!  Hopefully he will be ready to help me in a couple weeks as it will be my turn.  Have to get this shoulder replaced in order to continue doing normal things like combing my hair.

I caught up. Fun reading all of these stories!  Prayers for everyone’s illnesses.

I had Chemo #3 Wednesday and the shot for white blood cells yesterday. That’s the worst part. Only 1 more to go at the end of August. Yay!

Men are always stubborn. One extreme or the other. Please let him know I'm praying for him!
