are you allowed to wiggle your fingers?

It will just keep getting better. Glad the Sling is off.

Thanks for checking in to let us know how well you are doing.  I'm sorry you have to keep you right wing quiet for awhile yet.  I can imagine how challenging that is.  Just make sure your handsome nurse is keeping track of things or you...  if he is still recovering well.  He seems mad and frustrated enough on FB to forget any recovery pain he might still have.  Take care you two!

I'm so excited.  I can drive now.  I drove all over my neighborhood just to make sure I would feel confident driving in traffic.  I don't think I have driven my car since January.  Other people had to drive me around because of the pain of sciatica and my back.  I'm still using my walker because of my bad left knee.  It is painful to put all my weight on that leg so it has interfered with my PT sessions.  I have to wait 2 more weeks before I can get a steroid shot in that knee.  The doctor said I have to wait a full 3 months after my back surgery to get a steroid shot.  So in two weeks you better watch out.

Yay!  Great progress!  I don't know what I would do if I couldn't drive myself to where I need to go.  Driving gives you such freedom and independence.  Congratulations.
