I'm really hoping we'll get another week or so of mild before the month is over.  Fingers crossed this isn't really summer here at the start of May.  April and March were so nice!

It’s been over 100 here too and crazy humid. Time to rain already!

At least here in *this* SA, it's a little bit less humid than in the *other* SA.

People here sometimes comment on how humid it is.  It is to laugh.  Hah!  Don't tell me about humidity; I lived in North Texas for too long.  The air is nice and dry here.  Unfortunately, at the present time it's because we haven't had any significant rain in months.    

Yes, I went to Abilene on Tuesday and it was so cool, I wore my hoodie.  I had almost packed it away for the Summer.  

Thinking of you today and hope your surgery is a huge success.  You are in my prayers.

I just heard from Cathy, since the forum doesn't seem to let her post anything, she asked me to let you all know Carolyn's surgery went well, they took out the kidney but she is doing well. Cathy was at the hospital this evening, but has gone to Carolyn's house so they could both could get some rest.

She may know more tomorrow, but for now, Carolyn came thru the surgery and is on the road to recovery!!
