So sorry to hear that Sharon is in ICU. As Shelley said we all knew this would happen but it is still hard. So sad for Linda to have to make hard decisions. Prayer going up for all of them.

oh so sorry to hear about Sharon. Linda has been such a blessing to her.

Sharon has fought the good battle. She has been fighting this for almost as long as I have known her. I know it is a hard decision for Linda but the people at Hospice are angels on earth. I will pray for both of them.

Sharon's fight is over. The struggle is now Linda's. Prayers for them both. I think a heart block would be nice and I'll make and send one for her.

Thanks for letting us know about Sharon and Linda. What a terrible thing.

The worst thing about getting older is joining the ever growing group of survivors. Thanks for letting us know.

Sharon was the one who chose a friendship star block hanging out the window of pick up vehicles so those of us who were flying in would recognize whichever ax murderer was coming to get us. I first met Sharon through a car window dragging my bag.

I’ve been packing the sewing room. :-( I’ve taken extra time to snap a picture of each PIG. OH. MY. STARS. Knew I had a lot but until I was reminded by each and everyone I had to pack I never imagined I did accumulated so many. I made a separate album on my phone of just those projects and when I look at the total number of pictures in that album I am GOBSMACKED!! Let’s suffice it to say it’s >100. What’s the old saying…. I better not die I have too much to do. I hope I can get to some of them in this next year as we hope to have the house built by then. I’m just concerned that I won’t be able to find anything once we get all these boxes moved.
It’s hard to believe that in just over a week we’re gonna be leaving our home we made for us and getting it ready to have someone else buy and make this house their home. I know we are building a new home for our older years but I’m still not past the feeling of finality with this one. DH is a bit stressed too with so many details and things he needs to attend to here and get things started and ready for the movers to arrive there in Colorado.
Thanks for listening. I guess I’m just being sentimental. I try not to share these thoughts with my mom 'cause she’s already sad enough! My dear, wise friend Shelley shared some thoughts with me on the subject and did point out that I am kind of in mourning. I appreciated that so much because I think that does describe how I’m responding to things and feeling. {Thanks friend!}

Oh my dear Sharon. I know we all know that time would come and Sharon knows that too but it’s still heartbreaking and hard. Please let Linda know and share with Sharon that I will be thinking and praying for her comfort at this and for Linda’s heart at this hard time.
