I haven’t been able to get on since Sharon’s passing, it is very sad, but she is no longer in pain and suffering those treatments anymore.
I like all of the comments regarding loss of home, or any loss really and they were all very good.
I like most did clean out my sewing room and bag all “pigs” I simply moved them into a huge Costco tote all together so they’d be among friends, lol

Al I did actually put the fabric of a few back on the shelf having a  (what was I thinking with those colors?) moment. All good advice ladies. ♥?

I'm home again. Unfortunately I wasn't here for Sharon's celebration of life.  I did talk to Linda today.  She said she is having trouble even getting out of bed.  I'm going to call her next week and take her out to lunch so she has someone to talk to.  She said to thank everyone who has been sending good wishes their way.  She has a lot to do to clean out the house and get it ready to sell.  She figures it will be April before she can move back to Texas near her son and DIL.  The house had Sharon's thing, her things and their Mother's.  That's a lot for any house.  She said she will be at the retreat so those of you who come will have a chance to see her.

That is alot to try and sort thru.  Glad she will be at retreat and glad you are going to take her to lunch. Give her our best.

I've been super busy. Since cold weather is on its way faster than I'd like, I've been working on the garage, trying to get it organized and create work spaces, etc, and room to pull the car in. I also have been sorting through fabric and donating. I took a few tubs full over to a friend of a friend who lives in assisted living and makes charity quilts :D  Still working. I can share pix when I'm done!

Im so sorry to learn of Sharon's passing.  She was such an inspiration to me and our members and I will treasure the lessons I had from her.

I've been lurking and all seems to be very quiet here.  Everyone seems to be keeping very busy on the other sites.

Got back from our cruise with a light case of Covid so have been spending time, and absolutely no energy, trying to catch up.    Tucson has been enjoying some days of cooler temps and a decent Monsoon.  Both are quite welcome.

I found old red and black blocks that will finish into a nice quilt.  Hope to work on that and perhaps have that be my third attempt at using a long-arm at the LQS.  Wish me luck and inspiration!
