I’m impressed she moved them to CO from CA so could eventually deliver to CA.

Oh No, No, NO!

Patty was coming to CO to see her sister(?) so she asked if she could leave them at our CO place as her trip to come all the way west to CA didn't work.

You asked me to keep them here and you guys would travel here eventually and haul them home.

Ah!  Of course.  My Swiss Cheese brain is not totally functional in the memory department these days.  :-)   I had thought the dishes were in Los Gatos.  But, if they are in CO .. then we can certainly pick them up when we come to visit!  :-)

I know I should be buying patterns to support the designers, but the quilts I make are so simple and I get ideas from pictures that I see that don't even offer a pattern, or they are free patterns on Pintrest.  You, on the other hand, make such beautiful intricate quilts that I couldn't imagine trying to do without a pattern.

I hear ya .. and I have done and still do the same thing on those kinds of simple quilts.  :-)

I have been wondering where you have been. I will help with you gurney if you need it.

Again, I can not trust him to avoid doing things like he did that screwed up the hip in the first place.

I have one like that too.  Always pushing the envelop.  The weekend after he had his rotator cuff repaired, he was out on the jet ski.  Good opportunity to say "I told you so" but probably better to just think it.

Maybe I could talk my DH to going and join these two!

They would have a good time.  Some similar interests.  I can imagine some of their conversations.

We went to "Ol Heidelburg"

We enjoyed it, too.  The food was good.  We lived in Germany for about 4 years.  It was good to have some authentic German food.  Bob also has some German "blood".

No, no, they started out at Jonna's  condo in Texas, went to my house, then went to Colorado, i was visiting my college  buddy, and went to Ft Collins to deliver them to Judy so Pirate would visit Judy and pick them up.

Just another delivery from labfiend. In bbn the most circutious route possible!!
