Typical summer evening on the California coast!  (Monterey)

Looks like you are enjoying while much of the rest of the country is in smoke and heat.

We are getting record cold and rain in Colorado and the wildflowers are going crazy.

We have been so lucky here in Abilene.  They poured the slab for my barn on May 10, and from that day til now it has rained at, least every other day.  There is so much green we don't know what to do.  I know we need the rain, but I sure would like to have the trucks be able to deliver the metal and other supplies to put upthe building.  Not gonna say it, though.

Did not know you moved to Abilene.  A new barn sounds great. Hopefully you can get it up soon in spite of the weather.

I walk the property on my new place every day and the past few weeks I have been photographing all the wildflowers. New different ones are blooming every few weeks. 

I want to tell you that  you look beautiful with your dress.I love that color and you look beautiful with it.Can you show us your beautiful dau. and her dress.

I  am coming to Quitman.Tx Thursday for a retreat.It is called Sewpowerful.It is the little cross strip bag's that I make for the girl's in Zambia.Stitchin'Heaven Quilt shop is Sponsoring it..It is 22-25 June.I am driving.I have a friend that live in Glenwood AK.I am staying over nite at her place Wed and then Thur go to the retreat. On the way back stay at her house for the night and then leave for home Monday noon. I sure hope the weather will behave. Hope you will get your barn build soon.

Thanks Viola.  My barn will have my apartment, a garage, the sewing room, and a room for my DDIL to work on furniture refinishing.  We are all getting pretty excited about it.  Hope it will get going soon.  My storage bill just increased, and the kitties and I are feeling a little cramped in our little camper trailer.  Loving the weather, except for the rain keeping up for so much of the time.

I'm hoping to come up and see you before long.  Inviting myself.  LOL  I am excited to see how the barndominium turns out.  And also to visit you, of course.
