Jo, I don't use mine because it rarely works. Easier to thread myself. Maybe the problem is me. I have considered that I may just not have had the patience to learn to use it correctly.

Cathy, I was thinking like you, either the threader is defective or I am. But after I watch the short video and understood how a threader worked I was able to figure out how to make mine work for me.

One block done and twenty-eight more to go. (Those are binding and borders pinned on the left side of design wall.)
I am starting a new online polymer clay class on April 1st that is supposed to run until the end of May. It might be the clay class that drives me around the bend (the instructor is a bit of an obsessive perfectionist) but then again it might be a great deal of fun. Sigh. If you are curious, check out www.dancormier.ca and look at the designs under his name on his home page. Wish me luck. LOL

A progress report on my "Hot to Trot" (Kaffe Fasset's "Red Ribbons" quilt from one of his books) will show you that I have reached the square-in-a-square phase. Only four more rounds to go.
I really do not like the yellow and orange tiger stripe fabric and will have to force myself to use it by muttering "Kaffe selected this fabric for some reason". And the orchid and orange dot fabric is also very low on my favorites list.
I suppose using those two fabrics will build character. LOL

I think it looks pretty hot to me....not particularly my cup of tea...but it does look interesting!

I'll say one thing. It's going to be bright! I like the square in a square look.

Continuing the work on my Art Deco applique Forever Project™. This is the latest completed block: Japanese Iris.
