I resemble that remark, the 12 year old granddaughter is slim and tall, and plays volleyball.  Her feet are bigger than mine too.  My 14 grandson passed me a couple years ago.

Doesn't matter.  We won't remember it by February anyway.

Good ol' "Hot to Trot" is stitched and so is her pieced backing.

Can you find the seam in the backing fabric?  I hope not.  relaxed  (Seam runs through the big sunflower things.) I am seriously considering quilting this with the backing fabric on top and free-motion quilting around the pretty flowers which would be a lot more fun than trying any SID work with all of those straight lines.  I am so very tired of straight lines on this thing.

And here's the quilt top, folded in half, hanging on the design wall with the backing fabric, folded in eighths, just looking peaceful right now. I did not put all three borders on the quilt top ... too much work for my left arm/shoulder and I said "To blazes with that idea."

I think I will give Cecil Faye a good cleaning and oiling and then give myself a rest for a bit before I haul these pieces and parts down to the basement. The weather's too nice to spend time in the basement with Lily Aurora.
