Well done, Judy! Your back looks totally seamless. And I agree that is it a great idea to quilt the flowers on the back. It's raining here in Illinois, so you may have some coming your way and you can head downstairs.

Perfect backing. Did it come with the kit? I like your Idea of quilting from the back. With straight lines in the piecing of a quilt, I like contrast with rounded lines in the quilting.

The backing fabric is a Kaffe Fassett print and it was listed in the book as the choice for this quilt. Kaffe does not leave anything to chance when he designs a quilt.
I'm beginning to think that he selected the backing fabric first and then pulled the seventeen other fabrics for this quilt from his stock of bolts on the shelves in his studio. There is no blue on the sixteen registration dots on the backing fabric but all the other colors are there.

I made my Eclipse quilt that way by choosing the borders and the the fabrics for the blocks. It works.

I have a few projects in the works. I had never done an attic window setting and was given some beautiful squares of flowered fabric. This is what I did with them. I liked it so much that I'm working on a couple kids quilts where the fabric lends itself to this approach. Also have the rows of a scrappy quilt made. I'll post them when I have them sewn together, maybe tonight. It's so good to be in my quilting space again.

Attic windows are one of my favorite patterns. the florals are perfect for it. Yay for sewing again!

Love those floral fabrics!! You did an excellent job of using those beauties in the classic Attic layout. Good for you and your quilting space!
That yellow roses fabric gets my vote for best of the bunch.
