It is too bad that this person doesn’t care more about the end product. And 20 years is a long time to not refine and improve your work. How sad....l

Judy, I refuse to call you a coward! My thought as I was reading the size of the end piece was - enlarge the pattern!
shucks, if you do it larger and like it, then try it smaller!
besides, this is for fun not headache, right?

Shot cotton? I’m not sure what that is. Or maybe I call it something else... hummmmmm

I wasn't sure what shot cotton was either, so looked it up. It is cotton fabric , wep and weave are different colors

Sounds like it will be beautiful and hopefully you enjoy making it.

Pepper Cory calls her shot cottons "Peppered Cottons." The warp and weft are two different colors, so the color you see changes as the fabric moves.
Here's a very good video describing them.

Thanks, Dee. I wash all my fabrics with color catchers before I use it so I don't have to worry about colors running.
