What Are You Working On Now?   General Discussion

Started 11/19/17 by MarciainMD; 894770 views.

when DD was home for her birthday last week we went by Hobby Lobby to get a couple of puzzles to play with while company was here (sewing room is guest room so no sewing).  While we were there I of course wanted to swing by the fabric section.  I wanted to get some more of the ABC fabric for borders.  DD decided she really like the same and wanted for a scrub top - her therapy kiddos will like the ABC's.  And we also found some more REALLY cute llama fabric (which she likes).    So this is what I worked on this weekend.  She'll be back home next week so I'll get her to model the finished product then.

close up of the llamas - in tutu's, bow ties, sombreros, ponchos, etc.

Big congrats on finding that pen that was hiding so well!

You didn't happen to come across an errant basting gun during you exhaustive search efforts, did you?

Mine is MIA, and I've run out of places to look for the silly thing!unamused

oddly...if you find it...it will be in the last place you think to look...

my DH said...'re-trace your steps'...HAHAHAHA...that would mean several months of back tracking!!

maybe its a glitch in the universe...

I tried retracing my steps, but the problem is that I'd also have to retrace my DD's steps, as she used it, too.  No idea where to start with that!  LOL

Thanks for the tips, though!

I'd like the universe to get 'un-glitched' now.  We've already bought a backup baster, so I'm still hoping the original one will make a miraculous appearance. smirk

that is usually enough to make the errant item come hither!! Good Luck!

That lama fabric just makes me smile.

Cute fabric.  The kiddos should like that.

These are 2 quilts I have completed and turned on to the church group.  The first is the first time I made an attic window.  Not difficult at all.  Got to use up a few scraps in the second one.
