Well, today will be a mystery day. Hubby asked me what ias going to do today.....Nothing?
hah! But I have no direct goals today. First, I finished a book that was almost done . Then I pieced a charity backing, but realized it need to be washed ( had a spot). So, I have a load in the washer - threw in some more flannel pieces I found at church to make a full load.
then, found sitting on the table my youngest 2 masks. He is going back into the classroom and wears masks. They need washing, so I hand eid those. And then washed another 2 dozen that I had just finished.
where next? Who knows, I think today will be let’s see which odd jobs sitting around call my name!
how about the rest of you?

Oh, Wow! Ami. I love your tower of cubes! Your link wouldn't come up for me on the other thread and I'm sure glad it did here. The look great and I love the placement. I have no idea what to do with mine yet, but you have inspired me.

I love the colors you chose for this cube! I keep thinking I've made enough, but then I find another color combination I want to try.

Wow, Ami, a straightened-out color wheel! That is absolutely magical!
Thanks for sharing how your genius mind works.

judyinohio said:turns out I like no-brainer work during these endlessly rainy days in Ohio
Sometimes I have things on my mind and really need some time to think. That's when mindless sewing fills the bill, string blocks 4 patches , HSTs, etc. I enjoy doing it and the end result always looks fine.
Hope the Ohio rain isn't causing flooding like in Michigan.

No serious flooding like that in Midland which made me heartsick because decades ago we lived there for ten years.
However, I'm sure that the farmers in my area will be delayed with their planting this year. Probably the same for Lynne in Illinois.

I would be happy if you would send some of that our way. We could use a little rain. Hopefully we will get some with our Monsoon season which starts sometime next month.

I made a small quilt top from a pattern that Ellen used at the retreat called Scooch Over by Maple Islands Quilts. Went together quickly. The finished blocks are 12 x 18. I wish the blue had been lighter or that I had used a gold for the light and the blue for the dark. Oh well, it is still pretty and I have lots more of the focus fabric. What do you think about a narrow border in gold?
