Good grief!  That kit is going to be a doozy! Certain to keep you entertained and out of trouble.

Or perhaps quietly banging my head in a corner of my sewing room?
I loved working on Karen K. Stone's foundation pieced quilts years and years ago when I was younger and more ambitious ....

This one is small (only 40" square) and I can limit the palette unlike the biggies I made long ago.

Maybe you should have your dear hubby pad that corner so you won't hurt yourself.  I've never done anything that ambitious--guess I'm more the quick and easy kind of gal.  Pretty sure I have adult ADD.  If it's going to take too long, I give up easily.  I stand in awe of your patience to work on something like that.

If you give up on this project please don't throw it away like you did "Storm At Sea. The day you did that I was heartbroken and ordered the larger kit.  It is finished and hanging on my living room wall. I love it.

Stay safe.

Jo, that's wonderful!

When I checked a few months ago I did not find them on the site.  Those are the best foundation papers (because of the size) . The ones you found today are a different color (mine are printed in pinkish ink) but I'm so happy to see that they are for sale.

Are you talking about the John Flynn pre-cut "Storm at Sea" kit?  I got so frustrated with that because it was not foundation pieced.

Pinning is so painful for me with my bum thumb ....

Did you teach the mystery quilt at the Valley of the Sun in retreat one year and it was an Irish chain it was that somebody else?  I’m looking for the pattern. I was hoping that it was you were the teacher and had the pattern.  If you do or if you know where I can get it can you point me in the right direction or send it to me?

sorry that I posted here I don’t know how to start a new message I really know how to reply.
