Our water in the RV froze twice last winter, once for 2 weeks. We left for quarantine before Winter was done. It has already frozen once this Fall during the cold front I October. This skirt will keep out the wind as well as we can heat that space just enough to keep the holding tanks from freezing.

I'm still working on UFO's and Block Bins.  Another 4-Patch quilt for Project Linus and the leftover fabric from My Christmas Heaven made into 4.5" Four Patch Blocks.  Not sure where I'm going with the Christmas blocks but I wanted to used the remaining fabric and get it made into something useable.  There are 164 of the Christmas one.  
   

and I've been actually quilting some of the previous UFO's in my "expanded" setup in my sewing room.  The cabinet is not for the Singers I have, but will accommodate several of my machines. I pulled the cabinet up next to my big desk and it's working really well for support of the quilts.  I wanted something I could setup quickly when I got in the mood for FMQ. This is my answer.  I have other machines setup in the Living/Dining area.

This is my downstairs bedroom, that I use for a sewing room.  There is a serger under a cover and a large rectangular crystal vase that I keep rulers in.  It was a "mother's gift" at my sons wedding.  They even had it etched MOM.  Took me a couple of years to figure out using it to "my" best advantage.  I rarely do flowers anymore, as I no longer have my huge rose & orchid garden.  Further to the right is a TV stand with sewing items on the shelf and a three draw plastic cabinet filled with cut squares, fat quarters and some strips.  Behind the chair is where the machine & cabinet are normally. 

The ironing board & design wall (flannel backed tablecloth) grace the wall where you see the 4-patch sq quilt, waiting to be quilted.  I am divorced so I use the living/dining room for sewing with friends and part of the garage is setup for cutting & basting.

Certainly not the fancy, expensive setups & rooms that many have for sewing/quilting. I'm blessed to have a home big enough to support my fabric habit.  Better yet I can use it any way I want.   LOL

Good for you for getting a handle on your UFO piles.  It does feel good to get some out of the way.  I love your PL quilt and I'm sure it will be appreciated.  I really like the one you have under the needle.  Is that a 301?  I'm glad I'm not the only one that has different machines set up in other rooms.

So smart!  What an inventive solution!  You should patent it - I'd guess you're not the only ones experiencing the frozen pipe problem.  You've got the perfect set-up for it too  with your BIL's machines and capabilities.

making progress.  Thanks everyone for the suggestions, I like the QST with the gray/beige strip much better.  Next round is some square in a square with a variety of plaids.  After that I'm thinking some 4 or 9 patches.  I am not making much of a dent in the red fabrics really.  I did go buy another handful of beige Fq's and a yard of the beige that matched what I had, mostly because i knew my LQS had some and I think I'm going to want to use it as a resting strip again.
