Thank you, Judy. I thought it might be too busy, but I'm happy with the results.

Lynne, thank you for the welcome back. I actually surprised myself that I was able to post the picture. So many new things to learn.

I am looking forward to reading through the older posts here. I have a lot of catching up to do.

Take care.

Decided to work up one more color wheel idea but this time it is going to be a small pillow, not a wall hanging. (After about seven or eight color wheel wall hangings I really don't need any more of those.) Anyhow, I found a fusible idea called "Cathedral" on Etsy by a woman called Alison Glass and I modified it a little bit (left off some of her pieces because I used a very cluttered background fabric).

Then the challenge was to hunt around the house for a 16" circle to trace so I could cut out a circle for my 16" round pillow covering. Aha! One of my sun hats will work perfectly!!  (Yeah, yeah, a pin in my cutting table and an 8" string tied on a pencil would work but it is more fun to look for a "thing". Besides this faded redhead has plenty of sun hats to protect my tender skin. wink)

So here's my work for today ... quilt the dickens out of the color wheel and then make it into a cover for the lurking pillow in the back of the photo.

Well, we are glad to have you back.  Some days are chattier than other.  Kind of go through dry spells once in a while, but we come around.  I think we lost several to Facebook but there are many of us who don't do Facebook.

Oh WOW!  That is going to be gorgeous!  What vibrant colors and I love your background fabric.  If I remember correctly your sofa is white and that sure will brighten it up.  Love it!

Your memory is excellent; living room sofa is white so the pillow might go there or on the white chair in the sewing room.

For anyone who is also charmed by the background fabric, I found it at  fabricshack.com and it is a Hoffman fabric called "Cue the Confetti".  I found it by using their search engine and typing in "confetti on black". My confetti print I had on my shelf at home looked pale compared to this bolder Hoffman print.

I think you will always need one more color wheel when you find an extra special one.  Like your idea of making it a round pillow.
