Well I've been quilting. Figured since I needed to quilt the marine t-shirt quilt, I might as well quilt the two large throws I had done earlier this year. So I've got 3 quilts quilted and now to do the binding. I decided I really needed to give my hands a rest from the hand quilting. Though machine quilting is a bit hard on my back (bad posture).

Dee in TX (DBRADFOR3) said:such a cute pattern. Do you have a special wall to hang it?
I've enlarged it to be a twin sized quilt, so ... no wall needed. :-)

And Ami ....
I keep telling you guys ... some Forevers are longer than others. :-)

I'm thinking you define "forever" like a nine year old ("are we there yet")

Oh, Judy-- that is going to be one stunning quilt! How big is each block? They are a lot more work than you realize, but it is nice to do something scrappy that you don't have to match so many seams. Your DD will love it. If not, you know my address!

I love those bright cheery 16 patch blocks! You know how I like scrappy and this one will really fit the bill. How big will this one be?

I was watching Missouri Star yesterday doing 10 inch paper pieces. The first one sewed her straps together then sewed it on the paper.

Each square is ten inches of mindless boring sewing.
However this project keeps me in the sewing room which keeps me calm and focused on something other than DH who is really miserable these days. (He is using a walker now because his arthritis has gotten so bad.)

What, you expect me to have a plan for those 16 patch blocks?
I will keep piecing them until I run out of the little squares and then I will figure out what happens next. Right now I am shilly-shallying between using cherry red or black as the rectangles between the blocks. I am certain that I do not want white like the person used in this sample.
