Don't begrudge them a thing.  I admire them and wish I had their energy and skills.  Guess the word is envy.

this makes 5 tops in the closet.  Time to start thinking of quilting them.  But deciding on borders isn't any fun.

I completely agree.  In scrappy colors.

I have finished redoing this quilt, binding was put on this weekend.  I ended up doing big stitch hand quilting in the blocks (first time experience), machine quilted straight lines in the sashing, the new backing is a stripe, the same colors as the original backing.  It was a much loved quilt, it's not anything special but I love how it turned out.

Will try to post an updated picture later when I can get on my computer.

I think there is so much going on that you do not need a fancy border. It turned out great. 

Waiting to get back to my quilting someday..............just got back to New Mexico for another round of working on the house. At this point I am just gonna slog thru till it is finished or we do not meet the planned deadline to list.
