What Are You Working On Now?   General Discussion

Started 11/19/17 by MarciainMD; 938701 views.

At my house walways joke that we need a four legged turkey. We are invited to someone's house this year and I need to bring a side dish. I am making ratatouille. I have made it twice now. It is beautiful and everyone seems to like it.

Christmas we will be going to New Mexico.

The charity quilt is quilted and trimmed.  I found a fabric I like for the binding but need to make sure there's enough.  It will be finished tomorrow!

Cathy, Ellen and Lynne, thanks for the nice comments.  Now that my carpets are clean and dry,  I'll be able to get into my sewing/dining room today.

The charity quilt is finished.  I just have to wait for DH to help with the photo.  In the meantime, here is a photo of some burp cloths I made for my future DGS.  They are machine embroidered with fabric edging.  I want to give them to DD and DSIL when they come to visit in two weeks.

Awww..precious burp cloths Marcia...nice work.

I was working on my 2nd triple irish chain (Bonnie's pattern), but ran out of the background fabric, which is not white...never white if I can help it...So when that comes in I'll use that as my L/E for the mystery. But for now, I'm Lozenging.

Thank you! I had fun making them.  I made one more with his name embroidered on it.

Goodness, gracious, those are the fanciest burp cloths I ever saw.  What would our grandmothers make of those?  LOL

Pillowcases for a Relief Charity.   Will post when finished. Using a large asian floral, frogs on lilypads and Lorax for the main body.
