Thank you to everyone for your enthusiastic responses to this little wall hanging. You guys make me grin and inspire me to look for more small projects.  (I could not believe how quickly that binding whizzed under my needle ... I set a Cecil Faye speed record!)

My husband worked very  hard to make all of the pretty little oak spindles for my spools of thread. Then he pretended to be annoyed when I "hid" all of his careful work by putting the spools on the spindles so no one could see them. 

I teased him back by telling him that he could not eat the meals I worked so hard to prepare day after day  ....

That turned out great!  Not going to lie though, it looks a bit crowded. Would probably be more comfortable if that top one was gone. Just sayin’…
