I have done FMQ on my treadle....I don't have the right foot for it, so I go footless, which means I have to use something to keep from sewing me to the quilt - I have a set of OctiHoops that work for keeping out of the way.

Did you ever see any of the youtube videos of FMQ work on treadle  that Tim Latimer did? If not, its a treat to watch him work. (I don't know what happened to him.. he was going gangbusters, but no one has heard from him in a couple of years)

ooh.. I love your Christmas Snowflake Stars! It's magical how you go from just a block and an idea to a full quilt so quickly.

top finished, now loading the LA and deciding how to quilt.  Probably just an edge to edge in white.  I'm not up to trying anything fancy.

The quilt is plenty fancy so I'm sure that your edge to edge will dress it up very nicely.

Yes, Tim Latimer is great.  Just wish he was back in the game.  I watch them from time to time.  I found this photo on Pinterest.  My first thought was John Flynn's frame.  A gal I know bought one, never spent the time to learn how to use it and gave it to me.  I've used it but space was a problem at the time.  NOW I have space but need to get longer boards.  It only has 5 ft rollers.  I guess I'm like her, just don't put the time into practicing to learn.  BUT I SHALL- eventually

Thanks.  Yes, that's the plan.  I have a quilting hanging over the sofa in the den, thinking I'll put it there during the holidays.
