Oh wow!  That i absolutely stunning!

I started on the quilting tonight.  I am sure glad I decided to do ruler work instead of freehand.  I'm pleased with how it is coming out.  1st pass is done, looks like it will take 3. I'm not sure what to do in the border, I'm thinking perhaps bead board.  Seems like some straight lines would be a nice contrast to all the arcs.

Your choice for quilting is absolutely perfect!

Looks great. Bead board would look really good.

quilting done except for the border.  It was actually pretty fun, trying to keep quilting without breaking thread - on the last pass I was able to do all of it in one continuous line except for 3 little arcs - so close!

Beautiful job on this quilt, both piecing and quilting.  Bead board for the border should be perfect.

I know you haven't heard much from me.  I have been reading but the forum is very picky about whether it wants me to post or not.  Tonight it likes me.

this is fun!  And easy.  It looks impressive but easy.    Of course it helps that I'm quilting on black - you can see the texture but not individual stitches - black on black.  Almost done, I'll be working on the binding tonight.  Yipee!

Yup easy to do and it always looks great!
