Okay, this is an interesting method of creating small improvisational scrap quilts. First you create some large-ish panels of what I'm calling "hodge-podges" full of various sizes of squares and rectangles. (I am going to try to stick with my favorite brights and gaudy prints.)
Then I'm supposed to cut these large-ish panel "hodge-podges" into 3.5 inch squares. (That's a three-inch square Post-It note that I have put at the end of the scissors in the photo.)
Then I will use the small 3.5" pieced squares for the wall hanging I am going to make. There are gonna be a heck of a lot of seams in this thing.

Crumb quilts are cute. After my first one I said no more because it was a nightmare to quilt. Perhaps my crumbs were too small. ??

Back in 2015, I think it was Amy that was hosting a Nesting Robin. I only got the first couple of clues done when I got distracted with other things. I lost the themes for the rest of the rounds. Today I pulled what I had made from the UFO cupboard, have made the top up to 40”x42” (floor mat size), made a backing and black binding, and popped it onto the quilting pile for another day.

Colors are very striking ... makes me think of the flocks of goldfinches that are clustering around my birdfeeders this time of year.
That's a lovely piece and you shouldn't let it wait for another seven years before you finish it. LOL

It is always good to move a UFO to a quilt top. Hope you get it quilted in the near future. I have been on a mission to finish UFO the past couple of years.

ummmmm ..... just shoot me now?
I bought a new, machine-pieced pattern. Eventually, I'll think of someone to blame this one cuz it sure wouldn't have been *me*! LOL!

Well that is adorable! I can see why you got it. I love the dog in front of all the sheep.
