That will be perfect for that quilt.  I knew it was going to be beautiful when You kept putting more blocks on the design wall.  Doen't hurt that I love the colors.relaxed

Yes, I sew to the back and fold to the front.  Sometimes the back isn't perfect but I"m most concerned that the front looks good.  I try to use bobbin thread that blends with the back of the quilt.  Rarely do I have a seam in the binding that ends at the corner.  I've used your solution.  Doesn't take much work or time.

Takes my breath away.

A quilt this lovely will guarantee the couple stays married. wink

Thank you. When I was buying the fabric for this (I purchased 100% of the fabric new for this quilt from about 6 or 7 quilt shops) I was thinking sea glass and sand.

Thank you. I am pretty pleased with this quilt. I have finished the first of 5 rows of circles so off to a good start.

part of my problem is sewing black bindings.  no matter how bright the light it still feels like a guessing game.

AND especially when sewing at night.  OMG .. talk about a visual black hole!

I just had a brain storm - I don't usually like using these things but DH loves them.  Bet it would help at least on those corners

I'm finally feeling like I'm on the mend from Covid.  Thankfully, neither Rick nor I had any of the serious symptoms, like shortness of breath, and we both are feeling better now.  Thank you for your nice wishes and prayers.

Thank you for all of you encouraging comments about my bride quilt too.  I hope to get caught up on things around here and then start on the borders while I'm still excited about finishing it.

I loved seeing all of the pretty quilts so many of you posted about while I was sick.  Seeing them while I was under the weather cheered my day, so thank you!!!

I tend not to like wearing those head lamps either but *dang* they sure do direct bright light to EXACTLY where you are looking!
