Try placement of colors in the border to match where the colors in the center come to the edge. Try something more simple like just a narrow line of color, or a small square, or square on point.

So I know it's a quilting forum so nobody wants to see non-quilting things on here. Just thought I'd share that I've been busy, but not quilting. I had a friend ask me to make her a bullet journal for the new year, and with that and work, that's keeping me busy! But I'm still alive!

I was thinking of just a narrow strip of color between two black. Thanks for the idea of carrying the color placement down from the center. That would add to the interest. But I will need to wait until the center is finished. No matter. I decided to use a couple of orphan blocks to make a Christmas table topper for my sewing room. Also some small ornaments for my sewing tree in there.
