This is not exactly a quilting idea but it does involve fabric, it requires tons of patience and it certainly could take a person several "forevers" to complete some of these sculptural art projects.  The sixth photo is the real jaw-dropper.

There's no idea of scale in any of the photos .... I could not see any human hand or fingers to give a reference about how tiny those little "balls" might be.

Wonder if there is a backing of some kind and how the balls are attached to it or to each other. Interestingly odd.
