I'm just thinking here...

Is is too late to ask to borrow someone's machine at retreat?  I may bring a fair amount of non machine work but also would like to use a machine for lotto blocks, binding on a donation quilt and perhaps finish another smaller setting project.  If not, it's fine.  I may still bring my Lucy FW anyway.  After all, she's been attending with me for many years!

Well, now I'm getting excited.  DD and DSIL were here for a short visit (that in itself is news as they rarely come to visit).  They left yesterday and it was wonderful seeing them.  Now it's full steam ahead to get ready for back-to-back Laughlin, NV/Phoenix trips.  We  will drive in to PHX on Wednesday, Feb. 12.  Planning, packing, procrastinating!

Hi Ladies, I would say wrapping your secret sister gifts is absolutely optional.  I myself will not be wrapping.  The typical plan is when you SS is out of the room, you sneak over and put their gift on their table.  I would request that the giftee's table mates remain mum!  Also we will have paper bags with the SS names on it on a table near the front, that way people can put the gifts in the respective bags.  When the giftee walks by, they can check the paper bag!  I think this is going to be great fun, and I am looking forward to it!
