I really hope I can come.  DH will come with me and spend his days golfing and relaxing.

Whoo hoo, it will be good to see you!

Any word on the registrations that have been received??

So yesterday, I did a pineapple wall hanging. What I don't know is how to quilt it. LOL!!! It wasn't a hard quilt, though, just super time consuming!

Now this I can handle, sewing string blocks that is.  I have plenty of scraps to use up.

I have to take time to get to the quilt shop for the blue Kona.

Looks like both of us could be freezing cold in February while our friends are basking in the Phoenix Sun  ;-( I will be missing retreat as well.

Oh no Sandy, we will miss you!

ust so you know, my quilt guild is having a 3-day retreat at a church camp that is a few miles from my house.  I won't be spending the night (hate the little bunk beds there.)    I will be there Thursday to Saturday night.

I hope you get a lot done at your retreat!  We will be anxiously waiting to see your show & tell at our retreat.  :)

Just to refresh your memory, I copied this from Cathy in our other thread (Valley of the Sun Quilters).

I know all of you retreaters have been waiting to see what we would like you to do with your "Ugly fat quarter"!

2020(can you believe it) Retreat Challenge

FEATURE your fat quarter in an item you make that is "SOMETHING YOU PUT SOMETHING IN".

The maximum size ix 24x36, the size of your large cutting mat.  We want to be able to display them all.

Remember participation is voluntary as with all retreat activities.  (sounds like Pirate has already bowed out)  There will be prizes.

Let me know if you have any questions.  Let your creativity soar!  You have almost a year to figure this out.  I'm sure you will outdo yourselves as you did this year for Misha's challenge.
