I am more than happy to work on charity quilts next year also.  Doesn't  take much thought and you can still get visiting done!  Had fun doing them this year!!

Haha, i am still in Colorado and have not seen FB, something to look forward to when i get home!!

Judy, i sure enjoyed being your secret sister and i just love both of my new trolls, from you and Cathy!

We went to the quilt museum in Golden today, Pirate  was telling me about silk  thread, and i found some at the  museum, so bought a spool to try!  Saw some fabulous quilts also.

Too much fun!!

well..the treatment for a broken rib is the same as for one that is out of alignment...sigh..heat...pain meds , massage or chiropractic and....time - paper I got from the PA said it could take weeks to months to heal all the way up...let's just hope its the weeks version!!

Try to get your fingertips as smooth as possible.  Slather your hands with heavy duty lotion that really penetrates and makes the skin soft.  

The silk thread catches on EVERYTHING.   And slips out of the eye of the needle VERY easily.

Rosa (the Appliquick lady)  had a tip for silk thread slipping out of the needle...she ties a knot in it around the needle...to get that off the needle, hold the thread down the length the needle and snip upwards...
