Try to get your fingertips as smooth as possible. Slather your hands with heavy duty lotion that really penetrates and makes the skin soft.
The silk thread catches on EVERYTHING. And slips out of the eye of the needle VERY easily.

Rosa (the Appliquick lady) had a tip for silk thread slipping out of the needle...she ties a knot in it around the needle...to get that off the needle, hold the thread down the length the needle and snip upwards...

I cannot rest until I have put everything away.
Impressive! SO many of you guys have put all your stuff away. I emptied my suitcases (better than last year) and did the laundry...it's all piled up on the other side of the bed. Nothing is put away. I can sleep on one side :P

.could it be the change in air pressure??
Yes. I have more migraines on rainy days, though I don't think they'e all weather induced. Lately, though, only 2-3 per month. That's a bonus! Emgality + Invisalign for the win!

the number of problems with that hotel this retreat are scary! it's getting old along with us!!
But..it has such a great Retreat room....I don't know that we would find a better one.
And seriously, the price they give us is pretty great for rooms...most around here are more. I dunno what they charge us for the work room, but must be good too :)

You are right, we have checked around and can't find a hotel with such a large sewing room to fit our needs and in our price range. The conference room is not cheap but it is the best one for 32 people with sewing machines. The hotel is aging but then so are we. LOL
