I had a nice conversation with the shuttle driver on the way to the airport. He told me that the hotel loves having us there because we are such a nice group of people and so little trouble. He told me there is another group that comes yearly and they just dread it. It is a motorcycle group and their bikes are so loud, and they play their music so loud, lots of screaming and yelling and they get so many complaints from the other guests. Also, he told me they never tip the shuttle driver when he takes them to the airport. LOL

KSCarolyn said:You are right, we have checked around and can't find a hotel with such a large sewing room to fit our needs and in our price range. The conference room is not cheap but it is the best one for 32 people with sewing machines. The hotel is aging but then so are we. LOL
I am not going to complain about the hotel. We get a great deal and it is pretty clean and comfortable. I do feel for those that took cold or no showers and Becky and Karen who had to change rooms. I am glad that we have a place to get together and be able to sew. The conference room they have is a great size and meets our needs.

It a deal! I will be setting aside some things I could use help on for next year!
but, I think Cathy and I are also going to see if we can work on cutting and kits for our 2 charity groups at our Flying Pig sew days. Either help each other or enlist a bit of help!

Thanks, Sandy. I finally figured those top backgrounds had to be 2" instead of 2&1/2. Mine were looking like some mighty sharp cleavage.

The body tires but the soul is revived every year. I've said before I'll be there if they have to roll me in on a stretcher. That's getting closer and closer to the case but made it upright yet again. We may have to start a designated parking area for walkers though, lol.

I did just fine with everything piled on the floor at the foot of the bed. Anything on the bed, I kicked off to join it and rested me. You and Lee Ann are two of a kind though. Energizer bunnies on speed. I stand in awe.
