I'm SOOOOOO delighted for you!  I didn't realize you were so very close to closing on the house!  You have worked so very hard to get to this point.  You are a testimony to the commitment and hard work it takes to get out of debt and move forward with your goals of living responsibly.  Cheering for you from over here my friend.  Post pics when you can!

I just uploaded all the pictures I took at the retreat to my computer.  There were almost 250 pictures taken.

Thanks for always popping up and snapping the quilts and the fun!

My Mom makes those wonderful dishcloths too.  She used to really knit away when riding in the truck with my Dad pulling their 5th wheel.  She made so many.  She didn't stress as much ro take as many sudden deep breaths that way.  Kept them both happy.  I've had to ration the ones I have which involves sewing over holes and unraveling.  They are still usable that way just look pretty bad.

It was sooo good to see you too Linda.  I missed our little chat sitting in the sunshine catching up on how you are doing and how Zahn is growing.  You looked terrific and still do such amazing work so keep doing whatever you are doing.  I hope you are not set back from the retreat activity.  I agree...  I so enjoyed the slower, less structured pace too!

I want to thank all of the hostesses for a splendid retreat...though I did not get as much done this time due to my back issue (which turned out to be an out of alignment rib issue- not a broken bone issue as originally suspected!), it still was a grand experience!  I appreciated that it was more relaxed this time!

I had wonderful table mates - Ellen, Marcie and Mel! We all are a bit OCD...but about different things! It was fun watching Ellen get chocolate after chocolate from her Secret Sister...

The Ugly Fabric challenge was fun this year too...the variety of objects that the participants came up with was very interesting...I will have to make a few of them!

I am still packed...one of these days I will have to get the suitcases emptied!

Looking forward to next year already...I got some info about the collage technique that QuiltMama does - she can take up to 8 students at a time, and  would love to have us come sometime during the Retreat next year...if we can arrange it, we will try for Wednesday before Retreat... So far Ami, Yetta, me and someone else (sorry...I forget who else expressed interest - it will likely come to me in the shower!!)....dunno if there is enough interest to have multiple studio sessions...

So it looks like i have another project--lol

I found a glide foot for my machine.  It is $100, but I think it will be money well spent to best you.
