I won't use those plugs again!!  But it was nice they gave us lamps this year.

I think someone had asked me for the pattern to the organizer that I made for the challenge. One word of caution though, they just say to use “fusible fleece” and I recommend you use something more drapey than what I did. It was almost impossible to turn this thing inside out just prior to the final step because the product I used was too stiff !

As we prepare to close the thread (awaiting Carolyn's instrux) I wanted to say that I've already started my pile for next year's retreat! I bought a MANUAL luggage scale to donate to the cause. No more pesky batteries!

Thanks my luggage was 5 pounds over and I could have fixed that at retreat by transferring stuff to my other bag.

I was ready and willing to shift things if needed to the duffle bag, but they let me slide at 1.5 lbs over 50 this time.

I love Southwest, they have a scale before check in, so you can check your weight and adjust before checking in!

That is what I did. I just took a bag out of the big one and carried it on. There was a moment when I was heading to security wondering if there might be a pair of sissors in the bag but it was all good.

eh...as long as they are not over 4 inches...TSA lets you thru with scissors...I had about 6 pairs of them in my carryon coming to Retreat (there were two in the Tool Case Doll...)...granted most of em were tiny's but at least one was 4 inches...
