My problem is that the background music and noise is so loud, it drowns out the speaking parts. Frustrating.

Just heard that your governor says you are sheltering in place for at least 3 more months! Yikes.

I believe that is Los Angeles county only. This is because confirmed cases and deaths have continued to rise.
The rest of California's restrictions are being eased in stages.

Yup...RIV and SBDO have lifted the mask requirements unless a store requires it...and the restriction to social distancing for small groups..less than 6...

The sound engineering students don't pay attention during the lectures in Sound Engineering 101 ... the part about the audience must hear the dialogue.

Thanks, Ellen, but I'm not pursuing that project right now. I don't want to put a focus fabric inside my current hollow cubes. :-)

Later in the day, I heard that it was LA County. Thanks for the correction. Can't imagine 3 more months of this. I hope people have learned what they need to do to reduce the risks of getting Covid 19 and protect themselves.

My husband wears hearing aids that blue tooth to the TV. He hears the dialogue better than I do. A friend has some Sony head phones that are connected to her TV that seems to solve the problem for her. I need to check on that and see if the TV has enough ports for another device.
